THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
"The most important American addition to the World Experience was the simple surprising fact of America. We have helped prepare Mankind for all its later surprises."
~ Daniel J. Boorstin

*** "Veterans" are those who, at some point in their lives, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America', for an amount of up to and including their lives.***

FAIR WARNING: I fully support freedom of speech, but these things I will NOT tolerate:
* Religious fundamentalism and/or fanaticism.
* Anti-American attitudes, or insults against the USA, the American Flag, or the American people, wherever they may come from.
* Stupidity, Narrow-Mindedness, Willful Ignorance, Bigotry, Prejudice, Intolerance, and unprovoked Mean-Spiritedness.
I subscribe to Agnosticism and Secularism, for these practices lend themselves perfectly to the encouragement of harmony and peace between all kinds of people in all the countries on our Earth.
I passionately believe in the vital principle of Separation between Church and State, and in the spirit of religious freedom that compelled our earliest forefathers to cross an ocean and to establish the shining city on a hill that is America.
I support the Second Amendment, but I do not support those who want to arm themselves to the teeth with automatic assault rifles just because they can.
I agree with Michael Moore and Nancy Pelosi on some things, and I agree with Newt Gingrich and The Wall Street Journal on others.
I STRONGLY believe in the concept of 'Peace Through Strength', but I also believe in the concept that says it takes a village to raise a child.
I believe that ALL Americans should have access to health care that is GUARANTEED by the government, but I also believe in the enduring philosophy behind Alexander Hamilton's genuinely American economic super-system.
I'm all for a free-market economy, and for efficient and unobtrusive government, but I'm strongly against the prevailing tendency to engage in what I call Darwinian Capitalism, because it represents a clear and present danger to our republican democracy as we know it.
I believe abortion is a completely private and personal issue that deals exclusively with personal responsibility. NOBODY has a right to tell a woman what to do with her body.
I fully support Gay and Lesbian rights, and believe that they should be free to marry and live with ANY person they choose, and that their civil and human rights should not be violated. Sexual orientation is NOT a choice one makes!
I stand in AWE of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and consider them to be the best Presidents we've ever had.
I am a big fan of FDR's New Deal, and an equally big fan of Ronald Reagan's muscular foreign policy. I think the best Republican ever was Theodore Roosevelt, and the best Democrat that ever existed was Harry S. Truman.
I'm politically active as a registered Independent, and consider myself a Centrist. I could be a very liberal Republican, or a very conservative Democrat, and I am extremely happy and proud to be an American, and to be represented as a Citizen of the United States by President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden.
I believe the next four years will see the United States of America recover and go back to its preeminent position of leadership and success among the community of nations. YES WE CAN, AND YES WE WILL!!
So I thank you again for visiting my channel, and I ask you to be respectful, coherent, and civil. ENJOY!! };-)

I case you were wondering if I was exposed to the latest tragedy, NO, I wasn't at Hood, but do know a couple of people who were involved or in the vicinity. again, nice to hear from you. Cuidate hermano.
And happy veterans day man. Thank you for serving our country!
Thanks for your service. Three and a half until enlistment. Gotta get that degree...
As a Republican myself, I am disgusted with what my party has become. I can only attempt to take it back from the Religious right. I understand why you left. Good luck my friend.:)
I've actually been spending more time on Facebook than here on YT, that's why you don't see me here too much. :) It's all good though, life is busy. What a week huh? The Fort Hood tragedy and the passing of healthcare reform (at least the 1st step). Hey send me a personal message if you're on Facebook , and we can be friends there too. Have a great week no matter what! Tana
